Rules and Regulations on Use of Audio-Visual Centre(Students/Members)

1. The centre provides individual computer and two group viewing rooms.
2. Library users can check the CD/VCD/DVD from the Catalogue at library website, and fill in the “Audio Visual Resources Application Form” and then submit the student ID cards, staff ID cards or library member cards to the library staff.
3. The ID cards shall be reclaimed upon leaving the centre. If any damage is so caused, compensation shall be paid at double the market prices of the audio-visual materials or the appliances.
4. The Centre provides audio-visual materials in VCD, DVD and CD only.
5. Foods and drinks are prohibited in the centre. Viewers must maintain silence so that others in the centre are not disturbed.
6. There are two group viewing rooms and each can accommodate 15-20 persons.
7. Viewers shall make bookings by filling the application forms at the counter three days in advance. There must be a minimum of five persons for the group viewing room to be used.
8. In the event that viewers do not turn up within 15 minutes, the booking to use the room is automatically cancelled.
9. If there are no any pre-booking. All bookings are approved on a first-come-first-serve basis.
10. These regulations and any subsequent amendments shall be approved by the College Management Committee Meeting before they are announced for implementation.
